You may have noticed that I'm trying to edit my template. I've got it wider. Now I just have to shift it over to the left and Done. widen the sidebar or post body Done. Still needs tweaking, though. It may stay like this for a while though, because I'm trying to get ready for relatives visiting from England next week. This has involved painting, carpet cleaning, and general mucking out so far.

Template looks good. I, too, tweaked the same template, as you might have noticed (thanks for the comment about the musicals). If you want to share war stories about template futzing, or otherwise want to chat, drop me email. Or just drop me email anyway....
I'm always puzzled that layout designers go for such narrow columns. I know what readability studies show, and I agree that too-wide columns are hard to read. But I think too-narrow columns are also hard to read, and are more frustrating to me than too-wide ones.
Now that I've done it, I'm not sure I like it, though. Seeing your blog was the reason I knew it could be done, but it took me a while to figure it out (I did look at your page source to see how you did some of it - thanks!). It definitely still needs some tweaking.
